Responsibilities include a broad exposure to all HR areas including but not limited * Works with management on investigations, corrective actions, performance improvement, etc. * Administers FMLA and tuition assistance programs * Employee relations * Training and development including oversight of our online learning management system (Relias) * Assists Director of HR with development of HR policies and procedures, Affirmative Action, and moreQualified candidates will have Bachelor's Degree in HR plus 5 - 7 yeas HR generalist experience. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certifications are preferred. Ideal candidates will be tech savvy, work well independently, be detail oriented, flexible to troubleshoot problems that arise, and be well rounded in all areas of HR. Present qualified requests to Rehire Committee and respond to locations with final decisions. Record approval/denial in Ceridian.Manage performance review process for Home Office employees, Administrators, Team Directors and AITs. Ensure reviews are distributed timely and performed timely. Record reviews in Ceridian. Forward wage change documents to Payroll.Oversees Tuition Assistance and Nurse Loan Reimbursement programs. Process applications, record all transactions/payments and follow up on payments for defaults.Manage CEU requests for company training sessions. Work with (Iowa Western Community College (IWCC) and internal trainers to ensure CEUs are available for nurses when appropriate. Collect proper documentation after completion of training and submit to IWCC for processing.Coordinate FMLA for Administrators/Team Directors, Business Office Managers/Office Coordinators and home office employees.
