The Chief Operating Office (COO) is responsible for delivering a more consistent approach to business operations across Wells Fargo, strengthening the company’s risk and control infrastructure, and delivering effective and efficient enterprise services to employees and customers.

The COO group includes the head of Operations, who is jointly responsible for line of business operations with each of the five LOB CEOs. Operations functions include contact center operations, client servicing support, money movements within our businesses, lending operations, and other functions.

The COO group also includes a number of teams dedicated to strengthening Wells Fargo’s risk and control infrastructure. These include the Control Executive team; Regulatory and Policy Affairs; Enterprise Customer Excellence; Sales Practices Oversight and Management; and Strategic Execution and Operations.

The Chief Administrative Office, encompassing the Corporate Properties Group; Corporate Security; Enterprise Business Resiliency; Strategic Programs and Process Improvement; Enterprise Change Management; Supply Chain Management; and Data Management and Insights, delivers important services for our employees and customers.

This newly created Business Support Consultant 4 - Resiliency Systems Support position will help shape and transform Wells Fargo’s Enterprise Business Continuity and Resiliency Planning (EBCRP) landscape.

As a business support consultant, you will be responsible for assisting with translation of business requirements into user stories to support implementation of a new business continuity and resiliency system, as well as testing of user story acceptance criteria. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for helping to support business user requests related to existing platforms, and you’ll need to have and maintain an understanding of the EBCRP methodology and guidance.

Additional responsibilities include structured and unstructured work in support of projects and other initiatives.

The position will report into the EBCRP Systems Manager within the larger EBCRP and Enterprise Resiliency teams.

  • Review and assist with Enterprise Business Continuity and Resiliency Planning (EBCRP) systems user requests and questions

  • Interface with access management systems/groups to facilitate user access to EBCRP systems

  • Work with owners of upstream risk and technology systems to ensure provided data is accurate and complete

  • Stay current with EBCRP methodology and guidance to assist resiliency community with questions and requests

  • Assist with translation of EBCRP requirements to user stories, including acceptance criteria

  • Work with Technology group to provide business testing for systems/automation changes

  • Ensure compliance with documented process and control steps to facilitate data quality

  • May create and maintain process documentation related to other job duties

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

  • 2 + years of experience analyzing business requirements and transforming those requirements into business rules

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Ability to translate business system requirements into actionable requests for Technology teams

  • Ability to handle issue tracking and resolution, with appropriate urgency

  • Ability to grasp complex business issues quickly, recommend solutions, and drive for resolutions

  • Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria

  • Experience testing business software application and automation changes

  • Experience with ServiceNow platform

  • Experience with and knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery systems and processe

  • BCP External Certification(s) - ex. Master Business Continuity Professional ( MBCP) or Certified Business Continuity Professional(CBCP)
