QPS EMPLOYMENT GROUP Temporary Accounting Specialist in Waterloo, Iowa
Hours:Flexible, 8-hour shift between 6am-5pm
QPS Employment Group has an immediate opening for a temporary Accounting Specialist for a busy manufacturing company in Allison. This position is temporary but has the opportunity to become permanent.
As the Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in this company's finance department by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions. You will be responsible for verifying and reconciling invoices, processing payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.
Temporary Accounting Specialist Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Review and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness - Obtain necessary approvals for payment processing - Enter invoices into the accounting system and ensure proper coding - Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies - Prepare and process electronic payments and checks - Assist with month-end closing activities as needed - Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues in a timely manner - Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files - Assist with other accounting tasks and special projects as assigned
Temporary Accounting Specialist Requirements: - Experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable - Proficiency in accounting software - QuickBooks is preferred - Strong attention to detail and accuracy
