Description Robert Half is seeking a FP& A Manager for our well-respected client! The ideal candidate will have deep analytical capabilities, strong verbal and writing skills, and the ability to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once. This role is perfect for an experienced FP& A Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company.

Major responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the financial planning team

  • Support financial deliverables to the executive team

  • Execute financial valuation and analysis for mergers and acquisitions

  • Address and improve strategic issues by working in cross-functional development teams

  • Support regulatory filings

  • Analyze financials to enable both day-to-day and strategic decisions

  • Arrange financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis

  • Enable strategic and day-to-day decisions through financial analysis

  • Manage staff by recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees

  • Estimate costs of operating plans and then develop budget and forecasts during the annual budget development cycle

  • Manage the development of short- and long-term financial forecasts and financial analysis

  • Provide financial analysis support for the corporate budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Test fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans Requirements - Advanced computer software skills, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages

  • Ability to analyze complex business problems, propose effective solutions and understand and apply business vision and direction

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus

  • 2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience

  • 8+ years of experience in FP& A required

  • Exceptional qualitative and quantitative skills

  • Skilled in building relationships and communication

  • Exceptional business acumen

  • Must have superb interpersonal and influencing skills
