Description As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be a vital member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of our agency's operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of the agency while upholding our commitment to supporting non-profit organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our agency's mission and goals, with a focus on sustainability and profitability.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, including annual budgets and periodic forecasts. Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide insights for decision-making.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team and board of directors, highlighting key performance indicators, financial risks, and opportunities.

Cash Flow Management: Manage the agency's cash flow, ensuring that funds are available to support ongoing operations, investments, and growth initiatives.

Financial Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements, including tax filings and audits.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial risks, including the development and implementation of risk management strategies.

Financial Planning: Collaborate with department heads to develop financial plans that support their specific goals and initiatives.

Vendor and Contract Management: Oversee vendor relationships and contract negotiations to optimize costs while maintaining quality.

Financial Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Strategic Partnerships: Explore potential financial partnerships, investments, or funding opportunities to support agency growth and non-profit initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in a marketing agency or non-profit sector.

Strong financial analysis, strategic planning, and budgeting skills.

Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Understanding of non-profit financial management and compliance is a plus.

Commitment to the mission and values of non-profit organizations.

  • Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field required

  • Proven organizational and leadership skills required

  • 5+ years' management experience

  • Strong technical background in public accounting (GAAP)

  • MBA, CPA, CGMA or CMA preferred

  • 10+ years' experience in accounting or finance

  • High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Public accounting experience a plus
