Job Summary:

Responsible for the assessment, development, implementation, and ongoing review of terminal repairs, maintenance, and maintenance programs to ensure daily production objectives are accomplished related to storage, inventory, transfers, manufacturing, and distribution for all Jebro facilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. High School or GED.

  2. 5 or more years of experience in the maintenance field.

  3. Ability to travel overnight, with short notice when warranted.

  4. Accept on-call status for phone support or in-person assistance.

  5. Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Associate’s or Bacheller’s Degree in industrial field.

  2. Industrial certifications or equivalent experience.

  3. 3+ year’s leadership experience.

Job Description Highlights

  1. Effective implementation of a corrective and preventative maintenance program in accordance with operating procedures, practices, and financial considerations.

  2. Ensure that terminal equipment, machinery, and furnishings are maintained in an organized, safe, and operable condition.

  3. Responsible for the administration of all files, records, and reference library documentation pertinent to the functions of the maintenance program. This includes periodic preparation of reports and summaries.

  4. Work closely with other department managers to ensure that all maintenance is performed in a manner that is consistent with federal, state, local, and company guidelines.

  5. Conduct and/or delegate repairs inspections. Provide a summary of maintenance recommendations to the appropriate departmental manager.

  6. Prepare monthly and annual budgets and reports, pertaining to the department.

  7. Act as a liaison between Management and Supervisory levels to keep personnel informed on matters of communications, decisions and policies. Supervise and coordinate the various programs essential to manufacturing procedures, e.g. training, safety, housekeeping, work simplification, cost wage and salary administration, etc. Responsible to maintain an effective occupational evaluation and salary program as well as an employee appraisal system, focusing on employee development.

  8. Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors.

  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
