Maintenance Technician | $27.18-$34.80/hr. DOE
5:00a – 5:00p or 5:00p - 5:00a; 2 on, 2 off, 3 on
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for an exciting new job opportunity? If so, this position is for you!! A local production facility is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and breakdown maintenance on processing and packaging equipment, as well as responsible for keeping the plant running and in compliance with all rules and regulations.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently repair/replace valves and pumps.
Effectively perform electrical wiring, sanitary welding, and moderate pipe fitting.
Perform utility inspections of boilers, air and water systems, HVAC, etc.
Perform regular and preventative maintenance related to the plant, equipment and grounds.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Prior industrial maintenance/repair experience or training preferred.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to scope out length and difficulty of tasks, set objectives and goals, break down work into process steps, anticipate and adjust for problems, and evaluate results.
Ability to solve problems by adapting knowledge and experience.
Ability to work with minimal supervision, adapt to changing environments, and think independently.
What you’ll get:
Starting Pay: $27.18-$34.80/hr. DOE
