Job Title: Truss Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in the roles of Builder, Stacker, and Catcher. As a builder, you will assemble, pre-cut, and label trusses, working off a print to create the correct truss based on the work order. You will need to set up a jig and tack the plates. You will be reading a carpenter square to check angles and stacking and labeling the cut wood on a pallet.

Hard Skills

  • Ability to read a tape measure to 16th's of an inch

  • Use of hammer and staple gun

  • Ability to read a carpenter square

  • Experience with tape and power tools

Soft Skills

  • Good attitude

  • Willingness to cross train

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment

We operate three shifts, with the potential for overtime. Our environment can be hot in the summer but we open the doors to let in a breeze. It is heated in the winter. Dress code includes jeans, shorts, T-shirts, and steel-toe shoes. You will need to supply your own Framing Hammer, Hammer Holder, and 25ft Tape Measure for the wood plant. For the steel plant, you will only need to supply your own Tape measure. We will supply hearing protection, safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats where needed.
