Equipment may include, but is not limited to, CNC machining centers and lathes.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.2. Study blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specification, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished product.3. Determine the sequence of operations and set up requirements. Select proper fixtures, tooling, accessories and materials to be completed.4. Calculate and set controls to produce quality parts in the most efficient manner.5. Verify conformance of finished product using various measuring tools.6. Operate all equipment in a cell environment.7. Perform and document level 1 TPMs and level 2 TPMs if required.8. Work in a safe manner while following all safety guidelines.9.
