Other duties may be assigned.1. Organize workflow between departments according to production schedules.2. May order manufactured and purchased items to facilitate production.3. Communicate with area manager, line workers, and other personnel to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the system.4. Verify that product is prepared for shipment to the next level.5. May lead or co-lead Focused Factory Kaizen.6. Develop and implement LEAN manufacturing ideas to support the product teams.7. Assist in completing designated 30-day follow-up list items from Kaizen events.8. Update Q-Boards and assist with start up meetings.9. Facilitate the delivery of tools from the tool crib for production personnel and verifies accountability in the event of termination of employment.10. May perform a line function in the area assigned to.11. Train employees on safe work practices and enforces safety rules and procedures.12. Directly leads employees in production, maintenance, & engineering. Carries responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees, planning, assigning, directing work and resolving issues.
