Musco Lighting Global Sales Operations Specialist in Oskaloosa, Iowa
Description
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the complete project workflow process including planning, pre-sale, post-sale, manufacturing, shipping, installation, and commissioning, including preparation of specifications, pricing, quotes, budget estimates, conducting project reviews, as well as obtaining purchase orders, coordinating arrival of product in port, and synchronizing delivery on site so that projects are completed on time and on budget
Analyze, monitor, and maintain quality of information in systems on all assigned projects to ensure communication of project details and accurate sales and shipment projections to the team
Serve as the primary contact for Field Sales in the areas of company processes and policies
Identify issues or problems that affect the ability to accomplish goals and take action to resolve in a timely manner
Develop and maintain strong communication within the territory and relationships with key contractors, specifiers, engineers, and vendors, as well as the internal sales team and customers
Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to deal effectively with customer and project requirements
Discuss customer responses with other managers with a view of improving the sales process
Help facilitate billing and credit procedures as needed
Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, International Studies, or a technical field preferred
Two years previous experience in a technical customer support role is preferred
Foreign language skills a plus

Self-directed within a team environment with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time
Detailed, organized, and results-driven with the ability to solve problems
Knowledgeable and able to discuss with customers the attributes of Musco product
Understanding of Musco and company business practices
Knowledge of the sales and public bidding processes
Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be needed
Potential travel 1-3 times per year
