Musco Lighting Accounts Payable Coordinator in Oskaloosa, Iowa

Description

This position will work with our Accounting team to review and process vendor invoices for timely payment, including international intercompany entry and reconciliation.

A person in this role can expect the following on a daily basis:

  • Process accounts payable, including routing for approval and entry for Musco and its subsidiary companies

  • Process international intercompany invoices and transactions

On an ongoing basis, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • Process MCG cash receipts including bank debit/recurring credit card files

  • Ownership in the international reconciliation process, investigating and resolving all differences

  • Investigate and resolve problems associated with accounts payable including vendor statements and AP Clearing items

  • Reconcile all Accounts Payable GL accounts monthly

  • Reconcile MCG AR and deposit accounts

  • Enter payments and reconcile MCG CABS (Carrier Access Billing System)

  • Provide monthly reports regarding the fees associated with customer payment options

  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the accounting field. Must also demonstrate strong organization and attention to detail. Experience in prioritizing and completing projects with excellent written and verbal communication. Strong reconciliation ability is a must. This role must have the ability to take ownership of a process and enjoy looking for ways to improve it.
