**POSITION: Substitute Teacher LOCATIONS: All school buildings in the Newton Community School District
2023-2024 Substitute Teacher Pay Rates:**
- Base Rate: Hourly: $20
- 8 Hour Day: $160
- 4 hour Day: $80
- Long Term Rate begins on Day 21 of aconsecutive day assignment for the same classroom -$21.48/hour. (This requires a Teacher or Substitute License.)
Requirements: Current Iowa license (Teacher/Substitute License/Substitute Authorization)required.
The following additional requirements are needed to complete the application:
- Copy of your Iowa Teaching License
- Copy of both Iowa Mandatory Reporter: Child AbuseandMandatory Reporter: Dependent Adult Abuse certificates
- Transcripts from University/College
