Responsibilities

Warehouse Manager's Main Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

This position directly supervises all employees in the Shipping and Receiving Department.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising employees performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Responsible for the receiving, storing, issuing, inventorying and shipping of all products and materials entering and leaving the plant.

Responsible for bills of lading, invoices, orders and other records to determine loading priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.

Responsible for incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.

Responsible for inspecting loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.

Responsible for maintaining employee work schedules and time and attendance inside Kronos.

Responsible for standardizing procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

Qualifications

Prefer Associates Degree (AA) or above or equivalent at a technical school; prefer one to two years of related experience in same capacity or equivalent combination of education or similar experience.

Regularly required to stand for periods; use hands to finger, handle, or feel, objects, tools, or controls: reach with hands and arms.

Good hand and eye coordination is essential.

Occasionally required to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required include distance, peripheral and dept perception.

Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts, and outside weather conditions.
