DescriptionJOB SUMMARYThe Marketing Database Specialist is skilled in relational databases and works closely with a diverse set of stakeholders from marketing, sales, operations, and IT to improve the accuracy, availability and reliability of the company's knowledge management systems. As a member of the Corporate Marketing Services team, the Marketing Database Specialist is responsible for the ongoing management and training related to maintaining and sharing company, client, member, and project information. ESSENTIAL DUTIESWork with a team of members to ensure the database is accurate and updated. Support the marketing and sales organization by addressing questions, running reports and troubleshooting issues regarding the customer relationship management (CRM) and proposal database and other marketing related systems.Manage onboarding and regular training of members on marketing database software, processes and systems. Document and communicate information sharing and data-related policies and procedures. Develop quick reference guides and online video demonstrations.Monitor accuracy of data and alignment between HR, Operations and Accounting systems to ensure reliability of integrated data and process efficiencies. Lead special projects to improve the data gathering, reporting and integrity of information, including imports, data cleansing, searching and exporting.Optimize and simplify existing systems. Stay up-to-date on new marketing related technology, especially those that may result in better marketing and sales efficiencies. Regularly attend AEC industry and marketing technology related seminars, webinars and demos.Assist in development of business intelligence reports, analytics and tools to assist with monitoring metrics, forecasting work and managing the marketing and sales organization. Analyze data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas of optimization.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and outside consultants to manage and implement upgrades and add ons. Accept and perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to help the Corporate Marketing Services team deliver high quality, results-oriented services to our internal clients. QUALIFICATIONS AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDSApplicable and relevant certification(s) or a BA/BS degree is preferred.2 plus years of relevant experience.Proven experience in database development and management. Knowledge of CRM, SharePoint, and/or proposal databases a plus. Advanced knowledge of Deltek Vision is highly desired.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.Experience advocating for, and implementing modern technologies to assist in enterprise marketing efforts.Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals at all levels within and outside of the firm.Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work, coupled with the ability to work concurrently on a variety of projects and requests. Strong time management skills and sense of urgency to requests, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines - sometimes under short time restraints.Initiative and ability to work independently and with members located in offices worldwide.Strong attention to detail.
