DescriptionStanley Consultants is currently seeking a junior-level GIS Analyst to work in our Minneapolis, MN, Des Moines, IA, or Muscatine, IA office. Other domestic offices will be considered. The ideal candidate will have experience with military master planning and electrical utility infrastructure mapping using GIS, specifically medium-high voltage electrical systems. Experience in water, sanitary sewer, water resources, and transportation is also preferred.Essential duties include: Manage project geo-databases (file and Enterprise), mapping, analysis and reportingCoordinate with teams on data collection and deliverablesSetup GIS field data collection systemsExperience in map generation and data visualizationDevelop and maintain GIS web maps and contentDevelop modules to analyze data and automate repetitive workIntegrate GIS and CAD filesUtilize raster image processing softwarePrepare reports and technical presentationsHelp project team with quality control and document managementOccasional travel involvedRequired qualifications:Must be proficient with ESRI ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS ProA.A./A.S. or B.A./B.S.
