Position Overview: As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control and assurance within our production setting. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will develop and implement quality management systems, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Establish quality control procedures for incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess product quality and identify areas for improvement.

  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.

  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality-related issues and optimize processes.

  • Develop and deliver quality training programs for employees to ensure understanding of quality standards and procedures.

  • Participate in safety activities, including safety tours, training and accident / incident review for the department. Aids in developing Job Safety Aids for areas of responsibility.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics and drive performance improvements.

  • Stay current on industry trends, developments, and best practices in quality management.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality management roles within a production setting.

  • Rubber manufacturing background a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, ISO standards).

  • Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems.

  • Experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
