Manson NW-Webster is seeking a highly qualified and positive thinking person, with strong collaboration skills to be an Elementary Special Education Instructor. Qualifications should include:
Iowa teaching license required
Instructional Strategist I required, Strategist II preferred
Knowledge and skill with research based teaching techniques
Elementary Special Education teaching experience and experience with web IEP preferred
Ability to remain calm and help students control their behavioral challenges via positive interactions while accelerating students' academic skills
Strong collaborating skills and enjoys working with others
Good organization skills and time management
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collect and analyze student data (academic/behavior)
Ability to make data-driven decisions to improve student achievement and success
Solid foundation in research-based instructional strategies
Knowledge base in Functional Behavior Analysis and Behavior Intervention Plans preferred
Experience with inclusion and the co-teaching model
Experience with MTSS model
