DescriptionSUMMARY: The Recruiting Coordinator serves as an expert for recruiting candidates and is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening, testing and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). The incumbent must be skilled in interviewing techniques, possess a good knowledge of both the overall business goals and the functions in the facilities, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure, and an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure as well as federal and state laws regarding employment practices. This position is responsible for finding, attracting and hiring new employees to fill open positions and meet company's workforce needs and goals.This position always has the responsibility to comply with Safety work rules as well as an obligation to reinforce Safety as a Core Value. Ensures that all policies, procedures and activities, related to Food Safety and Quality, are followed and complied with uniformly, to reduce product and process variability.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Implements recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.Meets with managers and supervisors to develop specific recruiting plans, and partners with them to determine staffing needsProcesses job requisitions and manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.Implements advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), coordinates background checks and new-hire drug testing, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openingsArranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.Manages internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.With the prior approval from Management, extends verbal and written contingent job offers.Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).Follows up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.Creates recruiting campaigns and advertisements for open positions.Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.Ensures regulatory compliance at all times.Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy.Acts as liaison with area employment agencies and advertising agencies.Maintains employee referral program.Prepares and delivers staffing reports and statistics on a weekly and/or an as-needed basisUnder the Supervision of the HR Manager, acts as a liaison with, and directs the efforts of, employment agencies and search firms.Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.Performs other duties as assigned.EDUCATION AND EXPEREINCE REQUIRED:Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience1-3 years of hiring and recruiting experience required.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: Strong computer skills required, including MS Excel, Word, and Power Point and PublisherWorking knowledge of social mediaUnderstanding of human resources best practices relative to recruitment, onboarding and policiesAbility to conduct various types of interviews (i
