**Job Title: Sales Representative SUMMARY Preforms all sales activities for the benefit of the organization by completing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are limited to the following. Create sales. Visits job sites to gather information to prepare quotation. Prepares quotes and presents to customers. Completes Sold and Sales Orders, Special Orders and Stock MR's. Maintains Sales Kit Book, keeping prices current and items updated. Confers with operations supervisor on Plan and Spec and Design Build blueprints, spec book and project scopes. Confers with operations supervisor in planning and executing work procedures, interpreting specifications, and coordinating various phases of project. Confers with project supervisor about use of tools and equipment for the projects. Normally works Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 4:00pm. Depending on the size and scope of the project, sales representative needs to be prepared to work some nights. Ability to work beyond scheduled time to keep customer satisfied. Attends continuing education classes scheduled. Be able to accept changes in duties and projects. With adjustment in pay.

**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and three months related experience and/or training in sales/estimating; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience in HVAC and Plumbing code and discipline.

**LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry related to the selling/servicing of Plumbing and HVAC equipment.

**REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
