This exciting new opportunity in our Research Department will support regional seed packaging and distribution efforts for our research partners located throughout North America. How will you help us grow? It matters to us, and it matters to you!
Train and supervise temporary/seasonal labor.
Forecast consumables supplies for the site and procure as needed.
Assist in day-to-day computer related activities.
Ensure that facility safety &security policies are communicated, followed, and enforced.
Minor equipment maintenance - training provided.
Requirements - Who You Are:
What expertise have you grown? What do you bring to the table?
Associates degree or 2 years of relative work experience.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Willingness to work irregular and overtime hours as needed;during peak seasons (Feb- March) shifts run 10 hours with both a day shift and overnight shift.
Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively with or without reasonable accommodation.
Exceptional teamwork and leadership skills.
Ability to navigate a Windows PC and/or use smaller technology devices.
It Would Be Great If You Have:
Familiarity with production agriculture or seed production a plus.
Show a willingness to learn new skills and understand new processes.
