Our client is seeking a Sanitation Technician in a Greenhouse environment to join their team. As a Sanitation Technician, you will be part of the Controlled Environments (CE) Team supporting greenhouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sanitation Technician

Pay Range: $22.15/hour

What’s the Job?

• Perform routine greenhouse sanitation tasks including discarding regulated material, cleaning pots/containers, and sanitizing rooms.

• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment such as ride-on sweepers, power washers, and vacuums.

• Assist with troubleshooting basic mechanical issues related to cleaning equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of greenhouse facilities to meet company standards.

What’s Needed?

• Detail-oriented mindset to effectively carry out sanitation tasks.

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and leadership effectively.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., stand for long periods, and tolerate working in a warm, humid environment with pollen present year-round.
