Corteva Agriscience Cloud Security Services Lead in Johnston, Iowa


The Cloud Security Services Lead is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Cloud Security Architecture service program and for managing the Cloud Security Services team. The position is responsible for the planning, design, and the support of the Cloud Security Architecture functions and all its components. This individual will focus primarily on the cloud security architecture of systems and applications for Corteva. The Cloud Security Services team will work closely with the Enterprise Security Architecture team to ensure Cloud architectures are designed based on industry best practices and aligned with the overall Security Architecture of Corteva

  • Secure Corteva’s cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS).

  • Design and architect secure cloud infrastructure components that support key business priorities

  • Collaborate with the Compliance teams to ensure Cloud Architecture meet regulatory requirements

  • Align cloud security solutions to the enterprise security architecture strategy.

  • Support ProofPoint e-mail filtering

  • Interact with Collaboration teams (e.g., SharePoint, E-Mail)

  • Support CASB environment

  • Ensure architecture designs follow the SDLC requirements.

  • Collaborate with the Security Architecture Lead and the broader security architecture team.

  • Provide key performance and risk indicators to the Cybersecurity Operations Command and Control Lead.

  • Support the broader information security organization with the design and planning of systems and applications that reside in cloud infrastructure.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, Information Technology/Management, or related fields are highly desired but not required

  • Experience with Cloud Security Architecture and Information Security strategy, practices, technologies, and tools

  • 7+ years of cybersecurity experience

  • 3+ years of industry experience working with Azure and O365 cloud platforms with some AWS experience desired

  • Experience with ProofPoint or other e-mail filtering platforms desired

  • Understanding of complex security frameworks and risk controls

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Ability to lead in a team-oriented environment that is multinational and cross organizational with a managed service component

  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen

  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets with business acumen

  • Minimum Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator certification, Microsoft Certified Azure Security Engineer certification preferred

  • Information Security technology/compliance experience. Familiarity with major regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley

    Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISM - Certified Information Security Manager

  • CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional

  • MCAD – Microsoft Certified Azure Developer

  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification, AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification desired
