JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The System Specialist Supervisor is responsible for the performance and development of the System Specialist team which includes hiring, training, and coaching. The Supervisor ensures the technical competency of the team with Automatic Logic’s building automation control systems. The supervisor guides the team through very complex technical issues and assists with resolution. Additionally, the supervisor manages System Specialist assignments, labor budgets and coordinates job tasks and requirements with the Project Manager, subcontractors, and other trades interfacing with the project.

A key aspect of the System Specialist Supervisor role is to ensure that the System Specialist team successfully executes the following tasks:

• Start- up, commission and re-commission of customer systems that utilize pneumatic / electrical / electronic technology

• Troubleshooting

• Maintaining accurate As-Built drawing package and make changes in Visio, Excel, Word, as required

• Completing all required commissioning documentation and other job specific documentation

• Control system startup, check out and turnover of various systems

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Technical Lead/Supervisory experience

• Understanding of control logic

• Experience using WebCtrl or related BAS Software Programs

• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record in compliance with company policy

• Willingness to travel in excess of 50% of typical work week, mostly local travel and seldom overnight hotel stays

• Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade, and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs

• Knowledge in DDC control theory and applications pertaining to the HVAC/Control preferred

• Prior experience in HVAC and/or Building Automation preferred

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS:

HS Diploma in lieu of a degree with at least 7+ years of industry experience

AA/AS degree with 5–7+ years industry experience

BA/BS degree with 2–5+ years industry experience

MA/MS degree with 0–2+ years industry experience
