SHAZAM is looking for a n Application Architect to join our team. You’ll work closely with business and IT staff across the organization to curate SHAZAM’s technical foot print . Under the d irection of Enterprise Architecture, you will create enterprise/ project level design s while directing and implement ing our strateg ies within many of the SHAZAM custom applications and services.
What you’ll do:
Responsible for the overall project level design and direction of the application, process, or system in which you are assigned .
Lead the technical evaluation of the applications and processes assigned, including the development of technical prototypes and proof of concepts.
Identif y opportunities for process improvement in assigned application, process, or system. Explore the “art of the possible” to derive solutions that effectively address the issues at hand through analysis, troubleshooting, research, evaluation, and communication.
Work with software engineers and other architects to define and refine the product structure, process, or system to align with the business, development, deployment, testing, and maintenance needs.
Ensure applications adhere to SHAZAM’s overall architecture standards through communications with enterprise architecture.
Help architects and stakeholders at all levels understand the impact of changes across all aspects of their assigned solution or application.
What we’re looking for:
Ability to view, understand, and deconstruct information in order to draw business and technical conclusions.
Ability to problem solve by defining a problem, determining the cause, identifying potential solutions, and implementation of a solution in-line with the needs of SHAZAM.
Strong Understanding of Infrastructure concepts and strategies .
Working k nowledge of d atabase design and a pplication development across various systems and platforms .
Advanced knowledge of a rchi tectural s ty l es and best practices .
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering , or related field, or foreign equivalent , with five- years of experience actively working in the field .
K nowledge of b anking and B anking P rocess would be a plus but are not required .
Starting annual salary from $109,300 to $150,700.*
*Actual compensation will be based upon factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
