Rank for visiting positions will be based on experience and record of achievement. Contracts for 1 or multiple years are available. Primary responsibilities will include developing, facilitating and delivering course content that contributes to the Tippie College of Business's AACSB accreditation and is aligned with national standards in business education. Lecturers will need to be able to work with ICON (the University of Iowa course management system), provide course-appropriate readings and activities, facilitate class discussions, and evaluate student performance using graded assignments.Education Requirement:An earned Ph.D. in Economics or a related field (statistics, mathematics, or finance) is required.Required Qualifications:Evidence of successful teaching experience at the college or university level teaching undergraduate or graduate students in any area of economics and econometrics is required.Desirable Qualifications:A strong reputation for publishing research in top academic journals and demonstrated ability to work with research active faculty and doctoral candidates is desirable.
