UI REACH Instructor Posting ID123687DepartmentUI REACH/College of EducationJobcodeAdjunct InstructorWorking TitleUI REACH InstructorDetailsThe UI REACH program at the University of Iowa College of Education is seeking an adjunct instructor to teach UI REACH designed courses to UI REACH students beginning for the Fall semester 2021.Position responsibilities: Instruct assigned UI REACH courses, provide student assessment data for reporting purpose, respond to student needs that arise during classes, and report student progress and behaviors to UI REACH staff.Example of classes taught are Reading Strategies, Personal Finance, Career Exploration, and Social Skills and Advocacy. Most classes are taught between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday- Friday. Some classes may be taught in the late afternoons or evenings. Classes are taught in person on location.Appointment: This appointment is temporary. Duration is for one semester and may be renewed on a semester by semester basis. Rate of pay depends upon number of credit hours taught. Appointments will be less than 50% effort. Completion of an accredited Teacher Education Program and acquisition of a teaching license in the United States is required.
