HAMPTON HYDRAULICS LLC Chip/Grind in Hampton, Iowa
- Positions work-piece manually or by using jib of crane.
- Inserts selected grinding wheel or cutting chisel into portable grinder or power hammer.
- Positions and manually guides tool along specified guidelines on edge or surface of work-piece.
- Grinds small parts on snag grinder.
- Removes sharp edges or burrs.
- Chips or grinds out pits or cracks.
- Sharpens chisels and dresses grinding wheels.
- Sorts castings by material onto heat-treat pallets or into crates, depending on heat-treat process.

``` - Operates electric hoist and forklift to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

``` - Inspects castings for defects and decides if defect will be ground out, welded, or scrapped. - Applies die penetrate to casting to inspect parts for cracks.

``` - Performs all work in a safety conscious manner. Be aware of dangers and take all appropriate countermeasures to protect yourself and others around you. - Wear all PPE that is required. Ear plugs, respirator and steel toe boots.
