As the Demountable Market Manager, you would manage sales activities of the Demountable product lines of Stellar industries.

  • In coordination with Sales & Marketing Manager, develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.

  • Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.

  • Reviews market analyses to determine customer price schedules, and discount rates.

  • Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.

  • Keeps sales team current with cost effective technology and tools required of a nimble and informed mobile sales force

  • Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories and goals.

  • Works with Product Management Team to gather information from market to direct new product development and product enhancements needed to maintain, and increase, market share.

  • Assigns sales territory to sales representatives.

  • Analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist distributors in promoting sales.

  • Promotes Stellar Industries and products sold

  • Delivers sales presentations to key clients in coordination with sales representatives.

  • Meets with key clients, assisting sales representative with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.

  • Coordinates liaison between sales department and other sales related units.

  • Analyzes and controls expenditures of department to conform to budgetary requirements.

  • Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

  • Monitors and reports the activities and products of the competition.

  • Direct sales responsibility for Key Accounts as needed

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Regional Sales Managers – Demountables

  • Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the above positions.

  • Develops the sales team through motivation, coaching and product knowledge education.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Travel

  • Significant overnight travel by car or air is expected which may include week-ends according to sales development and national trade show needs

  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license; a CDL or the ability to obtain a CDL license recommended

  • BA or BS degree from an accredited four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience desirable

  • Proven work experience in leading a team

  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies; multi-channel experience a plus

  • Experience in customer relationship management

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Individual must have or gain a good understanding of Stellar Industries policies and procedures and consistently implement same.
