About the Position

Responsible for teaching theory and clinical courses in nursing. Arrange clinical schedule/experiences. Implement a variety of teaching methods and evaluate nursing students.

Qualifications

  • Must have a minimum of three years of experience in staff nursing.

  • Must hold a current RN license in the State of Iowa.

  • Must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing or show annual progress towards this degree with completion in five (5) years.

  • Prefer strong experience or work background in the content area of the position being sought.

  • Teaching experience preferred.

  • Meet the standards of the Iowa Central Quality Faculty Plan established by the College Board of Trustees.

  • All candidates interviewed will be required to provide a teaching demonstration.

Conditions

This is a full-time position (170 days). Minimum annual salary will be $60,840. Benefits include health and hospitalization, dental, long-term disability, and term life insurance, paid sick leave and holidays, and participation in IPERS or TIAA retirement plan.
