Our Cardiovascular unit specializes in care for cardiac, cardiovascular surgery, heart failure, and stroke patients. Work is completed in collaboration with the respiratory, physical, occupational, and speech therapists, cardiac rehab, nutrition, hospitalists, pulmonologists, cardiologist, cardiovascular surgeons, and other specialty providers. Goals for patient are team focused and multidisciplinary. Nurses are required to earn and maintain ACLS certification. They are highly encouraged to earn PCCN certification within 2 years of hire.

  • Must hold an active Registered Nurse license to practice in the state of Iowa

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required within 4 years of hire (tuition assistance provided as an employment benefit)
