Does detail drive you!!! Do you love audit and prefer not to travel This may be the opportunity for you. Our client has an opening for a Staff Accountant. This position would be responsible for the preparation of audit reports, performing desk reviews, analyzing and testing to assure that contracts are set accurately and participating in the very rare high-risk on-site reviews! Use your CPA designation to its fullest. (Candidate who is CPA eligible is strongly preferred but this company will help you get it!) If you have a Bachelor's in Science in Accounting but have strong time management experience handling multiple projects, for IMMEDIATE and CONFIDENTIAL consideration, please call!!

Requirements - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

  • Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems

  • Deep understanding of audit schedules

  • Solid understanding of financial auditing

  • Operation auditing experience preferred

  • Financial analysis experience

  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Excel

  • Experience with journal entries

  • Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

  • Certified Public Accountant - CPA (US)

  • BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

  • Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

  • 1+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

  • Accomplished in analytical, quantitative and social skills

  • Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

  • Skilled at time management

  • High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills

  • Skilled with ERP systems

  • Corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems experience a plus
