Job Description Summary

The Regional Operations Leader will help drive consistency across their region. The Regional Operations Leader will be responsible to support several key business initiatives as well as support and/or mentor new site managers within their region. Roll will be located in any of the following states - Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, South Dakota or Kansas.

Essential Responsibilities :

As the Regional Operations Leader, you will:Be a member of the Operational Excellence Group (EHS / Operations / Maintenance) responsible for sharing best practices throughout the North American Service Region. Be responsible to identify and eliminate waste via 5S and Kaizen projects among service sites in your region.Work to assist in the deployment of GE Digital Tools to various service sites.Support field sites in solving complex problems around LD's or Bonuses. Be involved in discussions with multiple functions and teams about improvement in processes, procedures and ways of working.Work on cross functional and diverse teams to identify and solve the businesses Big Y's as related to continuous improvement.Present to senior leaders (Executive Band and Senior Executive Band) in specific technical space and on cross functional teams. Help drive consistency across the entire North America region via uniform methods, transformation play book, and best practices. Support and mentor new site managers.Assist sites during the startup process to ensure long term success.Generate content as related to leading weekly operations reviews with Site Managers in the region.

Qualifications/Requirements :

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college (OR a 2 year technical degree / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Services)Minimum of 2 years of experience in OperationsELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:Ability and willingness to travel up to 75% within region.
