The Proposal Coordinator Sr. is responsible for developing easy to moderately complex, formal proposals. Primary duties to include, but are not limited to:

  • Analyzing and interpreting RFP documents.

  • Developing well-structured and strategically positioned responses that align with themes outlined by sales and/or account management.

  • Researching RFP/RFI questions and issues

  • Coordinating distribution of proposal questions to appropriate company experts.

  • Writing, editing, and proofing questionnaire responses for finished proposals.

  • Providing proposal status reports to management.

  • Participating on team projects and completing large group and custom proposals.

The successful candidate will have strong writing skills, attention to detail and be able to juggle multiple competing tasks. Strong project management skills are desired.

Requires a BA/BS degree; 2-3 years of experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. AnEqualOpportunityEmployer/Disability/Veteran

Must Have:

  • Project management, problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in writing, editing, and proofreading with theability to draft clear, persuasive copy.

  • Ability to execute multiple, ongoing projects in a timely and accurate manner in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.

  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.

  • Health care industry knowledge.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with pharmacy benefit management.

  • RFP experience.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret RFP requirements and draft targeted responses.

  • Knowledge of proposal software solutions such as RocketDocs (formerly PMAPS), Qvidian or Qorus.

  • Solid foundation of skills in Microsoft Word with regard to styles and formatting.
