Job Title:Project Manager - DES MOINES, IAJob Description:Pro Staff is working with a reputable company in the Des Moines area looking for a talented and skilled Project Manager. Must have background in engineering, industrial manufacturing or business. This position is a 1st shift opportunity. The project manager is responsible for the concept of the project to finished product, this includes establishing, maintaining, scheduling and enforcing project standards, influencing decisions internally and externally while effectively communicating with all stakeholders associated with the project.Essential Functions/Key Accountabilities:1. Follow direction provided by Director of Project Management.2. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to, and enforcing, all safety procedures and policiesinside and outside the facility, including use of personal protective and company equipment asrequired.3. Represent the company in a positive manner both internally and externally while adhering tothe organization's core values.4. Communicate effectively with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous andprofessional manner.5. Provides assistance with front end sales quotes regarding pricing, production times and logistics.6. Manage the life cycle of the project, serving as the liaison between external and internal customers.7. Enter all relevant sales data into the system, establish tasks, distribute preliminary information and createand manage project folders according to company standards.8. Ensure the project is completed accurately, on time and in the best interest of the company and customermaintaining open communications with all parties.9. Maintain a relationship with the customer, developing business opportunities for current and future needs.10. Facilate 'kick off' meeting with all required departments to review order and develop a plan to exceedcustomer expectations, and hold follow up meetings to ensure deadlines are being meet.11. Maintain communications with internal and external customers to ensure project tasks are beingaccomplished effectively and efficiently within the established time frames.Educational/Other Requirements:1. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.2. Three (3) to five (5) years of related experience.3. Excellent analytical skills.4. Familiar with reading and understanding blue prints and engineering drawings.5. Computer literacy including MS Office applications.6. Excellent oral and written communication skills.7. Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.8.
