We are looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Paint Line Inspector at our Des Moines, IA facility. The shift is 7:30AM - 4:00PM, Monday through Friday with the possibility of overtime. Starting pay is $22.54 and may be higher depending on experience.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Inspect forms for bad or missing welds.

  • Inspect forms for proper parts placement.

  • Inspect forms for proper hole drilling.

  • Check forms for straightness and face sheet quality.

  • Check forms for proper grinding, cleanliness, and proper coating of paint.

  • Keep foreman informed of trends in quality problems that develop.

  • Stretch round column forms.

  • Operate bulldozer to straighten forms.

  • Identify form with proper stencils and EFCO labels.

  • Keep daily record of the day's production; also list of daily reworks.

  • Replace stencils as needed.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervision.

  • Record labor on work order and timecard accurately.

  • Perform Quality Audit process.

  • Operate material handling equipment.

  • Clean work area on a daily basis.

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance.

    Requirements:

    Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read blueprint and both metric and imperial dimensions on a tape accurately. Must also be able to meet the physical demands of the job.
