About the role: The IT Risk Project Consultant is viewed as a leader within their team and will deliver results by providing project management and delivery of technology and business initiatives related to the technology risk management program. They will consult and guide Technology and business stakeholders to achieve the stated objectives, measurable goals, and deliverables of projects and initiatives and drive overall coordination of projects and initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in related field or direct and equivalent work experience
5+ years of proven experience managing multiple technical projects (medium/to highly complex)/executed in various methodologies/or phases, while managing scope, schedule, and budget
Experience with IT risk management, controls, and governance
Strong experience in project leadership, including managing technology related projects
Proven innovative critical thinking skills, including industry-wide knowledge, and understanding of technology processing systems
Demonstrate the highest degree of ownership and commitment to assigned projects; drives projects toward successful completion in face of aggressive schedules and unforeseen issues and provides a consultative approach while holding themselves and their teams accountable for project performance
Demonstrated ability to achieve project objectives of multiple, complex projects
Comprehensive knowledge and application of various project management processes and system development life cycle methodologies
Proven skills in building relationships and influencing people across the organization to break down barriers and foster collaboration
Demonstrated group facilitation skills, negotiation skills and presentation skills demonstrated through successful experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization (to include VP and SVP level stakeholders)
Bachelor’s degree in related field
7+ years of demonstrated experience managing multiple projects executed in various methodologies or phases
Prior process improvement experience
Prior experience in the Healthcare industry
Professional Certifications(s): Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
a. Manage and lead multiple projects and initiatives within IT Risk that are highly complex. Manage all efforts related to the initiative, including the oversight for large stakeholder groups for assigned projects and initiatives. Influence and manage large stakeholder groups, while managing adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
b. Lead crossfunctional project teams by taking projects from inception through completion facilitate timeliness and schedule for project completion.
c. Consistently create and maintain full scale project plans and schedules, including coordinating and tracking project or initiative dependencies.

e. Lead coordination of project resources through effort estimates, establishment of project timelines and follow through of execution.
f. Utilize release planning capabilities to assist stakeholders in efficiently executing and coordinating efforts on interdependent and related projects and initiatives.
g. Demonstrate the key drivers of IT Risk project management effectiveness meet deadlines, logically solve problems recognize and mitigate risks, align project priorities to organizational strategy, connect project priorities to organizational goals, leverage the talent and skills of right people and tasks, facilitate consensus among stakeholders, objectively evaluate team members, and understand project interdependencies.
h. Support and follow Technology software development lifecycle SDLC, operational procedures and standards to achieve stated results of assigned projects.
i. Develop, maintain, and distribute program, project and initiative related communications and presentations to Technology Leadership to ensure transparency on progress for projects and initiatives
j. Other duties as assigned.
