This is a great opportunity to play a crucial role in the Integration Engineering team whose charter is to build Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Wells Fargo. We have the chance to redefine how technology is delivered across all lines of business and have a meaningful impact on the delivery of services to our customers. We are a group of thought leaders who leverage best-of-breed technology and proven open source solutions to deliver on our mission.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to help develop and implement the Wells Fargo Infrastructure as Code capability. The candidate must be well versed in SDLC principles, CI/CD pipelines and, source code management. Our backend environment consists primarily of Python (Flask, Tornado) for API integration, Terraform, Ansible and, MySQL and MongoDB for data persistence.

The successful candidate will have a well-documented track record of success in building and developing APIs, participating in code reviews, testing, and delivering high quality code in an Agile environment. The successful candidate will also have experience in integration into asset management tools, compliance activities, and influencing architecture.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of systems analysis experience, systems programming experience or combination of both

  • 5+ years of Python experience

  • 5+ years of RESTful or SOAP web services

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of design methodology, Infrastructure operations support or engineering

  • 2+ years of experience with Agile, Kanban, or Lean methodology

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Ansible, Terraform or CloudFormation

  • 3+ years of MySQL experience

  • 4+ years of Agile experience

  • 5+ years of web applications experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers

  • Ability to manage efforts that require integration of multiple technology systems, operations, or processes

Other Desired Qualifications

  • Experience interacting with databases using standard Python database libraries

  • Experience with Python application deployment, configuration and managing environments.

  • Experience with enterprise system monitoring and high availability architectures.

  • Experience with cloud development and migration
