Our client is seeking:

HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT REQUIREMENTS:

  • Human Resources Assistant helps in administrating and maintaining all human resource record-keeping systems, assists in processing benefits including providing benefit information, assisting in processing payroll and payroll-related activities including time and attendance, use of social media, and providing general human resource information to associates.

  • Assist in helping process and track FMLA and Worker Compensation and working with 3rd party benefit brokers and providers.

  • Enters and maintains personnel information and records. Identifies and resolves benefit issues and coordinates resolution with the human resources team and vendors.

  • Identifies and resolves payroll issues and coordinates resolution with the human resources team.

  • Coordinates with managers and department heads to obtain pertinent employee information to help facilitate and resolve issues.

  • Sitting, standing, and walking for significant amounts of time is necessary.

  • The majority of work (80+%) requires light to medium physical effort including lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and/or bending with light to medium to heavy objects.

    Requirements

  • High school education or equivalent experience, with 2-4 years prior HR experience is preferred. Some benefit administration and payroll experience are strongly preferred.

  • Ability to identify and manage details. Requires ability to input data and understand Microsoft Word, and Excel.

  • The position involves a high volume of work and requires managing multiple tasks with frequent interruptions. Requires a high level of organizational skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and problem-solving skills.
