Kemin Industries Engineering Intern in Des Moines, Iowa
Kemin Industries is seeking a Winter intern that specializes in Engineering. The internship will take place over the Winter, starting around November 30th, and ending January 8th. The position is located at the Des Moines, Iowa headquarters building and is considered full-time.

What you’ll be doing:
Assist with various engineering projects and tasks
Use thermal imaging equipment to evaluate steam system and identify heat loss areas
Conduct a cost analysis report based on findings
Gain industry experience in a variety of engineering areas
Participate in department meetings and contribute ideas regularly.
Liaison with other departments regarding current projects and tasks.
Identify process improvements and create standard work
Partake in the Kemin Summer Internship Program events and trainings.
Prepare and give a final presentation to Kemin Industries leadership.
What we require of you:
Currently enrolled as a freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior with an accredited college or university, pursuing a degree in Engineering, or other closely related field.
Experience with thermal imaging
Expereince with const analysis
Ability to commit to employment during the months of November through January.
Strong desire to enhance the Kemin engineering department.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
