Principal Client Onboarding Manager in Des Moines, Iowa

As a Client Onboarding Manager in our Defined Contribution area, you’ll coordinate all aspects of multi-process onboarding for our medium to large sized clients, while maintaining overall responsibility for onboarding.

Your day will be filled with:

  • Working independently, act as a consultant and actively advise clients and prospects as they navigate through the acquisition/implementation phase of onboarding.

  • Establishing and improving client/intermediary relationships through effective communication and delivery of expectations to ensure growth in retirement savings and profitability for all partners.

  • Ensuring accuracy and integrity of the client's data and set up to ensure ongoing success.

  • Mentoring and coaching team members along with managing and/or participating in special projects.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 4+ years of related experience required.

  • Defined benefit or Defined contribution knowledge and customer service skills preferred.

  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and negotiation skills, along with the ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Analytical, innovative, and creative thinking along with problem solving skills.

  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills, including verbal, written, phone, and presentation skills.

  • Strong initiative and organization skills to work efficiently to meet deadlines on multiple transitions.
