In this position as a * Business Initiatives Consultant 2* , you will be responsible for facilitating the relationship between WFT (Wells Fargo Technology) and multiple groups including: EM/RM (Engagement Manager/Relationship Manager) or GSPO (Global Solutions Program Office), WFHL LOB (Wells Fargo Home Lending Line of Business), and WFT and CLT (Consumer Lending Technology) teams relating to our 3rd Party Vendor Management and CLT Offshore Operations Transitions. In this role, the selected team member will act as the single technology contact for the EM/RM & GSPO as well as with the WFHL LOB and CLT Technology Teams for transition solution planning and additionally serve as the centralized 3rd Party Vendor Management and Global Solutions Support subject matter expert in vendor application onboarding and transition solution delivery.

Other responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness of 3rd Party Vendor Management and CLT Operations offshore solutions. Maintain regular contact with management within WFHL LOB & GSPO regarding the solution and EM/RM related to 3rd Party Vendor Applications.

  • Responsible for understanding and following policy, documenting business and technical requirements, providing guidance and consulting services to LOB and technology, as well as overseeing the technology related tasks during 3rd party vendor application onboarding and both GSPO transitions and non-transition efforts.

  • 3rd Party Vendor Management to include:

o Manage existing as well as new 3rd Party vendor solutions providing WFT oversight and partnership to the LOB during contract initiation, development, and onboarding & maintenance of applications including sunset activities.

  • Global Solutions Support to include:

o Influencing technology adaptations for offshore solutions by gathering and reviewing current and future state process information for WFHL LOB & GSPO, and working with the WFT & HLT teams to determine if standard solutions will work or if a custom solution is required. Recommend and facilitate the delivery of the best option to the LOB, including providing guidance on leveraging a different or new technology.

This position can be located at either of our Wells Fargo location in St. Louis Park, MN and Des Moines, IA. This opportunity is NOT ELIGIBLE for relocation assistance. Prospective candidates should reside in and/or around the target work location or be able to commute to this site for work.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, implementation, or strategic planning
