Automation Architect

Seeking an Automation Architect for Des Moines, Iowa office. This role is a full-time Career Consultant position working with the client providing automation solutions, mentoring and coaching testing services consultants and more.

What You-ll Do

As an Automation Architect at Sogeti you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform automation frameworkassessment and setup roadmap for improving the maturity

• Recommend new tools and supportin performing tools POCs

• Ability to develop new testautomation framework

• Continuous support to develop /enhance the existing automation framework

• Define automation strategyapproach for new &ongoing projects

• Recommend new solutionsapproach for increasing automation footprint

• Support in enabling automationteam by providing trainings, job aids

• Support automation team inresolving technical clarifications and troubleshooting technical issues

Required Education Qualification

• A bachelor's degree in anydiscipline. MBA or equivalent degree preferred.

The ideal candidatewill have:

• Working knowledge in any ofautomation tools- Selenium, UFT, Coded UI, Testcomplete, Ranorex, TOSCA etc.,

• Excellent knowledge andhands-on experience with core JAVA/C# in writing effective automated testsusing Selenium

• Cloud experience - AWS or Azure

• Must have in-depth knowledge ofautomating backend tests for Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 and Sybase

• Hands on experience withtesting ETL using automation

• Experience in automating SOAPand REST Web Services testing

• Ability to setup and executemobile automation framework is a plus.

• Hands on experience inProgramming/Scripting languages like PHP, Python, Perl, Javascript, Rubyis a plus

• Jenkins, TeamCity, Bamboo orother continuous integration is a plus

• Git or other version controlsystem is a plus

• Work experience with offshoredelivery model is a plus
