ConvaTec Associate Territory Sales Manager-Los Angeles, CA in Des Moines, Iowa

We have an immediate opening for Associate Sales Rep who will train with and assist multiple CA Territory Managers, providing support and driving sales throughout the area. We expect the Associate to be successful within the first year which will lead to promotion, inheriting an existing account base as a Territory Manager. Must be willing to relocate within the U.S. to assume responsibility for an open territory.

Position Description:

• Cultivate strong customer relationships through routine visits, product in-services and providing solutions.

• Work closely with Territory Manager(s) and Regional Manager to evaluate account activity and prescribing trends.

• Assist with training and in-servicing for medical staff and support personnel.

• Develop skill set to “get past the gatekeeper”.

• Demonstrate strong business acumen.

• Work closely with TM and Sales leadership to identify territory obstacles and opportunities.

Requirements and Necessary Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Previous sales experience preferred (inside or outside)

-Clearly communicate insurance opportunities and challenges within a given market.

-Effectively represent company as a true resource within specified territory.

-Manage and meet all deadlines for any documentation needed.
