GLOBAL SECURITY SERVICES - IA LTD Security Coordinator in Davenport, Iowa

The Security Coordinator is an essential role with the rank of Master Sergeant. This position is self-directed and acts independently with minimal supervision. Candidate must demonstrate strong leadership, approachability, attention-to-detail; strong problem-solving skills in a collaborative, fast-paced, high-profile environment; and deliver extraordinary results.Other qualities include strong business acumen and the ability to regularly work evenings and weekends on a flexible schedule, as needed, to assist the Director of Physical Security and Protective Services within the CONUS. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:Act as the main Point of Contact (POC) between clients and Global Security Services.Conduct phone conference with key contract POC's and Management to discuss possible issues and improvements to the contract.Collect, review, send to Assistant Director of Operations, and file weekly SITREP's from all sites.Contact all site supervisors on a weekly basis to check on operations throughout the state.Update spreadsheet on a weekly basis after completing payroll and send to Assistant Director of Operations upon the completion at the end of each month.Must maintain intimate knowledge of each site. Must have the ability to move around all sites unescorted and have working knowledge of procedures conducted at location. Travel to all sites on a regular basis is mandatory. Use of the company vehicle is required.Coordinate, plan, and execute training for all officers throughout the state. Also manages logistical challenges such as lodging, meeting, and training locations.Responsible for hiring and training new officers in coordination with Human Resources.Additional duties as assigned.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSMust be proportionate in height and weightMust always be clean-shaven and neatly groomed, only a short-trimmed mustache is allowed.Must be able to run 1 1/2 miles in 17 1/2 minutes and do 19 pushups in 2 minutesMust have valid Driver's LicenseMust have reliable transportationMust be able to obtain weapons permit upon hireNo criminal history/backgroundSKILLS and EXPERIENCEExperience in completing detailed administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.Ability to handle several projects simultaneously with overlapping deadlines and unique project specifications.Sound judgment, solid decision-making ability, and pro-active problem-solving skills.Skillful with Windows based software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, an Adobe Acrobat Pro.Exceptional writing and communication skills.BENEFITSWe provide paid training for Training, OC, Baton, and NRA Law Enforcement Firearms.We supply all training and duty ammunition.We provide all your uniforms (3 pair) duty equipment and weapons to include OC, baton, and weapon.
