The Lead Solutions Architect works with user groups to solve business problems with available technology including hardware, software, databases, and peripherals. The Lead Solutions Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Lead Solutions Architect translates business needs into technical systems solutions. Integrates hardware, software and network interfaces to form a system. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and passionate solution architect who will work with senior technical and business leadership to help define the strategic direction for HR.

This is an exciting time in HR as Humana continues to rapidly expand its' workforce of 80k+, transform the associate experience, modernize the workplace, evolve agile adoption, transform the employee data ecosystem by leveraging Cloud and SaaS platforms.

You will leverage industry leading platforms such as Azure, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Workplace Analytics, etc. to seamlessly provide a best in industry HR experience.

Communication and teamwork will be key as you turn business needs into real technical solutions for the present and the future.

This means that the Solution Architect must be able to interact with senior business leaders across the organization to understand business strategy and challenges, evaluate industry leading solutions, apply best practices, align with technical strategic roadmaps and transition to all levels of IT.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field

  • 8 years of progressive information technology experience directly related to architecture/engineering

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

  • Experience working with third-party service vendors

  • Architecture and development experience across Business, Application, Data and Technology domains

  • Familiarity with Cloud and SaaS, and capable of defining the architecture strategy for transforming current technology by adopting Cloud and SaaS based platforms

  • Ability to translate business needs into short and long-term technical solutions

  • Experience to insure that solutions align with enterprise standards and strategic-goals

  • Passion for job and Humana core values (Pioneer simplicity, etc... . may want to list them)

  • Team player who is willing to jump in to help when needed

  • Excellent communication skills and able to explain complex technical issues in a way that non-technical people may understand

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BI/Analytics
