Position DetailsFamily Resources is seeking a highly motivated, organized, detail oriented, trauma-informed, part-timeBehavioral Health Intervention Service (BHIS) Provider. The BHIS provider delivers training/psycho-social rehabilitative skills training to children and their families in order to re-mediate functional deficits related to and improve child functioning impacted by mental health symptoms.Position Hours: Flexibility is required to meet the needs of the clientsPart-time position-can work towards full time caseloadComprehensive Benefits OfferedThis position is located in Davenport, Iowa, to serve Scott CountyThis position requires travel within Scott County to provide services in the homeEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Maintain a working knowledge of Behavioral Health Intervention. Services and Medicaid requirements and standards.Deliver BHIS in a manner compliant with applicable State, Federal, Accreditation, and FRI standards.Provide individual and family BHIS services including skills training/instruction.Provide services in a client-centered, strengths-based, professional manner.Coordinate with other team members as necessary, monitoring and data collection related to child behaviors/functioning associated with BHIS goals and objectives.Complete Service Documentation.Participate in Clinical Supervisions.Participate in MHS Team Meetings.Provide back-up coverage for other BHIS staff as requested.Participate in program marketing.Adhere to and be knowledgeable of the agencies vision, mission and values.QualificationsBachelors degree in social services field + 1-year experience,OR20 hours of child mental health trainingORBachelors degree in non-social science field + 2 years experience,OR30 hours of child mental health training.Must have current proof of car insurance, able to pass driving background check and have reliable transportation.Bilingual and/or bi-cultural applicants arehighly encouragedto apply.About Family ResourcesAt Family Resources, we believe in strengthening children, families, and individuals in our community - it's the passion that permeates everything we do.
