Purpose statement:

The Quote Administrator provides professional customer service and accurate pricing for all price quote requests.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for timely and accurate generation of all price quotes.

  • Handles inquiries for price quotes leading up to order placement to provide a positive customer experience.

  • Identifies the correct product offering; uses IDT’s CPQ to configure and quote customer requests.

  • Reviews quote requests to screen for most common issues, clarifies any missing/unclear information with the customer, and works with manufacturing as needed to determine feasibility of manufacture.

  • Answers and documents all incoming and outgoing customer interactions in IDT’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database; primarily via email.

  • Provides price quotes to ensure customers are able to make informed decisions regarding their purchase.

  • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • Associate’s degree with 2 years of customer service experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Professional Experience:

  • Previous experience in customer service or a related field preferred.

  • Excellent computer skills that include Microsoft Office applications and proficiency in typing required.

  • Reaching: extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

  • Lifting: raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.

  • Bending: bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist and/or bending leg; bending legs at knee to come to rest or kneel.

  • Pushing/Pulling: using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward/using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.

  • Climbing: stairs, stools, ramps, ladders.

Visual Acuity:

  • Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.

  • Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
