This is an exempt level position.

Position Summary:

  • Lead day-to-day operations of a Clinton production department to produce high quality products that provide value to customers and a return to shareholders.

  • Require safety and compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations.

  • Utilize assets efficiently to meet production and quality goals.

  • Manage department in keeping with established policies, procedures and plant priorities.

  • Lead department in a manner that results in a cohesive, focused, positive climate to achieve organizational goals.

  • Provide guidance to operating supervisors and technical support personnel to achieve short term and long term department performance.

  • Manage costs and continuously focus on efficiency improvement.

  • Assure training and development of all department employees.

Job Requirements:

  • Promotes the ADM Way and Core Values

  • Ability to manage a diverse team

  • Able to communicate with all levels of the organization

  • BS in Engineering or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of experience in major engineering role or leadership role in major process related position – preferably at Clinton plant

  • Strong understanding of process control systems and other computer systems

  • Excellent leadership ability including a vision for future direction and ability to lead others in work execution

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills

  • Proven track record as a team player

  • High energy level and clear customer focus emphasis

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships to enable the achievement of results over time

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to walk long distances and perform work in an industrial setting
