The Transportation Engineer will provide engineering expertise for local roads, collector, and arterial streets and highway (rural and urban expressways) projects including: corridor development and environmental studies, right-of-way layout, drainage and utility systems, preliminary and final roadway design, preparation of construction documents and cost estimates.less than/span>less than/p>less thanp>less thanspan>This position requires a working knowledge of municipal street and roadway design with an emphasis in location and design study development, final design, utility coordination, estimating, and project manual/specification development,less thanspan> less than/span>Working knowledge of the Iowa Department of Transportation projects is a plus.
